Back to the Mischief of Childhood

While working on this series, I was transported back to my own childhood—

full of playful mischief, small adventures, and unspoken understanding between siblings.
Drawing each scene in one breath, I felt the joy of immersion, the thrill of storytelling, and the quiet pride

of seeing these characters come alive on the page.

Inside the Story

A timid, book-loving older sister and her spirited, curious younger sister stumble upon a lost puppy.
In a series of six pencil-sketched scenes, their day turns into a mix of secrets, misunderstandings, and eventual laughter.

Bringing Characters to Life in Pencil

These illustrations are concept work for a chapter book. Drawn in pencil to capture subtle expressions and lively gestures,

each scene allows readers to fully experience the sisters’ growing bond and playful adventures.
