 I wanted to tell a gentle story of endless family love, 

the kind you feel on a cozy winter night with your loved ones.  

Julie's delicate, reflective writing inspired me to create images glowing 

with soft, warm light and rich luminous colors.

I hope the warmth and love I felt making this story reach every reader too.

I wanted to capture a space that, though it may appear still,

is filled with the distant murmur of the streets, the smoky scent of a winter morning stove, and the sparkling movement of dust under the rising sun.

I aimed to reflect the gentle rhythm of Julie Berry's text by creating a quiet visual flow with light.  As the eye moves along the soft glow, readers can linger where they wish and feel the emotion of each family member.
